摘要
西洋镜又称“拉洋片”,是晚清民国流行的一种民间曲艺。该文借助于媒介考古学的理论对明清至新中国成立初期西洋镜的发展与嬗变进行考察;通过史料、报刊、文献对西洋镜的历史脉络进行扒梳,探讨了其独特的发展路径。作为舶来品的西洋镜完成了本土化、曲艺化的转变,这一过程为我们思考当下和未来媒介的发展提供了重要参考。
Peepshow,also known as"Pull movies",is a popular folk art in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.Based on the theory of media archaeology,the development and evolution of the peepshow from the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the early days of the founding of New China are investigated.Through historical materials,newspapers and documents,the historical context of the zoetrope is combed,and its unique development path is discussed.As an imported product,the peepshow has completed the transformation of localization and folk art,which provides an important reference for us to think about the development of current and future media.
