缅甸家畜类成语的隐喻认知模式研究

Study on Metaphorical Cognitive Model of Livestock Idioms in Myanmar

缅语是缅甸联邦共和国的官方语言,属于汉藏语系藏缅语族缅语支,该文基于人与家畜一直保有密切而历时长久的关系,从缅甸家畜类成语的角度入手,以莱考夫等人的概念隐喻理论为依托,以隐喻映射语义扩展的两种基本认知模式,即基于相似性为基础的隐喻扩展和基于经验相关性为基础的隐喻扩展,来研究缅甸常见家畜在成语中的隐喻现象,从而初步呈现缅甸民族的思维模式、思维方法、价值观念、道德观念及是非标准等。

Burmese is the official language of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar,which belongs to the Burman Branch of Tibet-Burman language from Sino-Tibetan language family.With the close and lasting relationship between human and livestock,this paper uses two basic cognitive models of semantic extension of metaphor mapping from the perspective of Burmese livestock idioms based on the conceptual metaphor theory of Lakoff et al.That is,it applies metaphorical extension based on similarity and metaphorical extension based on experiential relevance to study the metaphorical phenomenon of common domestic livestock in Burmese idioms,thus preliminarily presenting their thinking mode,thinking method,values,moral concepts as well as right and wrong standards.
