Research on the Development of Chinese Translation Theory:Future Directions

中国译论在国际上仍处于“半失语”状态。作为理论翻译学基础之一,国内译论发展研究尚存诸多空白。展望未来,本文从基础、系统、目标三大方向探讨中国译论发展研究的未来走向:深入梳理史料,全面呈现译论发展嬗递与流变,“释”“究”并举,对话西方,创建译论,促建译学。

Chinese translation theory is still voiceless in the international arena.As one of the foundations of theoretical translation studies,the study of translation theory in China leaves many gaps to be filled.Looking into the future,this paper discusses the future directions of the research on the development of Chinese translation theory from three major directions:in-depth sorting of historical materials,comprehensive presentation of the transmutation and changes in the development of translation theory,and a special focus on“interpretation”and“research”at the same time,on dialogues with the West,creation of translation theory,and on the promotion of translation studies.
