Expressions and clinical significance of BAG-1 and IGF-1 in gastric cancer

摘要 目的 探讨Bcl-2结合抗凋亡基因1(BAG-1)和胰岛素样生长因子1(IGF-1)在胃癌的表达及其临床意义。方法 采用免疫组织化学染色检测79例胃癌组织及其癌旁正常组织中BAG-1和IGF-1表达,探讨其与胃癌患者临床病理特征及生存率的关系,同时分析胃癌组织中BAG-1与IGF-1表达的相关性。结果 BAG-1和IGF-1在胃癌组织中的阳性表达率均高于癌旁正常组织(65.8%vs.44.3%和64.6%vs.46.8%)(P<0.05)。BAG-1和IGF-1表达均与胃癌分化程度、淋巴结转移、TNM分期密切相关(P<0.05)。BAG-1和IGF-1阳性表达组的胃癌患者生存率低于阴性表达组(P<0.05)。胃癌组织中BAG-1与IGF-1表达呈正相关(r=0.582,P<0.01)。结论 BAG-1和IGF-1在胃癌组织中高表达,并与胃癌患者不良预后有关;两者可能协同促进胃癌进展,有望成为胃癌治疗的潜在靶点。 Objective To investigate the expressions and clinical significance of Bcl-2-associated athanogene-1(BAG-1) and insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF-1) in the patients with gastric cancer.Methods The expressions of BAG-1 and IGF-1 were detected by immunohistochemistry staining in 79 cases of gastric cancer tissues and tumor-adjacent normal tissues.The relationship of BAG-1 and IGF-1 expressions with the clinicopathological characteristics and survival rate in the patients of gastric cancer was explored.The correlation between the expressions of BAG-1 and IGF-1 in gastric cancer tissues was analyzed.Results The positive expression rates of BAG-1 and IGF-1 in gastric cancer tissues were higher than those in tumor-adjacent normal tissues(65.8% vs.44.3% and 64.6% vs.46.8%)(P<0.05).The expressions of BAG-1 and IGF-1 were closely related to the differentiation degree, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage in the patients with gastric cancer(P<0.05).The survival rates of patients with gastric cancer in BAG-1-and IGF-1-positive groups were lower than those in BAG-1-and IGF-1-negative groups(P<0.05).Besides, there was a positive correlation between the expressions of BAG-1 and IGF-1 in gastric cancer tissues(r=0.582,P<0.01).Conclusion BAG-1 and IGF-1 are highly expressed in gastric cancer tissues, which may be related to the poor prognosis of the patients with gastric cancer.Both BAG-1 and IGF-1 may promote the progression of gastric cancer and can be considered as the potential targets for the treatment of gastric cancer.
