Recently published joint research by Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and an archaeological team led by Cui Jianfeng at Peking University has shown that the black glazed pottery found at the Qujialing archaeological sitewas the earliest high-temperature black glaze pottery.
