摘要
"Yang Naiwu"is a new Chu opera adapted from"The Scholar and the Serving Maid,"one of four well-known cases of intrigue from the Qing dynasty.It features Yu Weigang,an outstanding young actor from the Wuhan Chu Opera Theater.In order to keep the performance traits of Chu Opera,especially the artistic style and vocal art of Li Yaqiao,elements such as modern sound and light,stage art,costume modeling,and music are used in the artistic creation.This play is the closing performance for the 10th Wuhan Opera Wharf-Traditional Chinese Opera Art Festival.
