“以人民为中心”思想立足百年中国革命和建设实际,以满足人民需求为归宿,形成于十八大以来以习近平同志为核心的党中央的治国理政实践;在理论上,以历史唯物主义群众史观为渊源,以全心全意为人民服务为逻辑起点,继承、融汇了邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想和“科学发展观”的有关要求。“以人民为中心”思想强调一切为了人民、一切依靠人民,坚持马克思主义的人本情怀并实现了全面发展,实现了中国传统民本思想的历史飞跃,体现了科学社会主义的本质要求;回答了中国共产党是什么、为什么和怎么做三个重要问题,具有重要的理论价值。

The idea of "people-centered" is based on the realities of China’s revolution and construction and its aim is to meet the needs of the people, which is shaped under the governance practice of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, led by Comrade Xi Jinping, Core of the CPC Central Committee since the 18th CPC National Congress. In theory, taking historical materialism and mass view of history as its origin and serving the people wholeheartedly as the logical starting point, it inherits and integrates Deng Xiaoping’s theory, the important thought of Three Represents and the relevant requirements of the scientific development concept. The "people-centered" development philosophy emphasizes that everything is for the people and everything depends on the people, adheres to the Marxist humanism, achieves all-round development, realizes the historical leap of Chinese traditional people-oriented thought, and embodies the essential requirements of scientific socialism. It answers three important questions about what the CPC is, why people stick to it and how to do it, having significant value of theory.
