内质网应激与常见神经系统疾病的研究进展

Research progress of endoplasmic reticulum stress and common neurological diseases

神经系统疾病是指影响神经系统的一大类医学病症,包括癫痫、脑血管疾病(如脑卒中)、神经退行性疾病[如阿尔茨海默病(AD)、帕金森病(PD)]等。神经系统疾病往往以慢性病居多,给社会、家庭及患者都带来沉重负担。近年来,有研究表明内质网应激(ERS)与神经系统疾病密切相关,并提出可通过靶向ERS以实现对神经系统疾病进行预防和干预治疗。因此,本文就ERS在常见神经系统疾病(如癫痫、AD、PD、脑卒中等)中的作用及相关机制进行综述,以期为神经系统疾病的治疗及其药物研发提供理论依据。

Neurological diseases are a large class of diseases that impact the nervous system, including epilepsy, cerebrovascular diseases(such as stroke), and neurodegenerative diseases [such as Alzheimer’s disease(AD) and Parkinson’s disease(PD)]. Neurological diseases are mostly chronic, imposing a heavy burden on society, families and patients. In recent years, many studies have shown a strong correlation between endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS) and neurological diseases, suggesting that targeting ERS may be utilized to cure and prevent neurological diseases. This article summarizes the role of ERS and associated mechanism in common neurological diseases, such as epilepsy, AD, PD and stroke, so as to offer some theoretical evidence for the treatment and related drug research of neurological diseases.
