With the expansion of the scale of oil refining and ethylene plants, a larger volume of waste lye treatment demand is derived.The purpose of this paper was to provide a layout scheme for the waste lye pretreatment device. Through the discussion of fire prevention design, environmental protection consideration and HSE design in the layout, combined with the analysis of medium characteristics in the device and the introduction of the characteristics of the waste lye device, the layout reference for similar devices was provided.
