In order to discuss the traffic safety facilities design of escape lanes,this paper analyzes the selection of alignment design parameters of highway escape lanes and the setting of traffic markings,traffic signs,guardrails and other infrastructure,puts forward that the traffic safety facilities should be set up according to the current norms and standards from the perspective and needs of drivers based on the actual highway conditions,and expounds the safety factors that should be considered and related design points.
