Due to the different sources of information, attitudes of narrators and environment of narration, there are differences in the descriptions about the specific situation of the Wutai Poem Case by the people in the Song Dynasty, Su Shi himself included.The comparison of Su Shi’s own records in different situations with those of the Song people and the reference to the legal provisions of the Song Dynasty can identify the reliability of relevant records and find out the reasons for these differences.
