Review on Xu Teli and Traditional Chinese Medicine

徐特立对中医药,经历了由拟以中医为业到放弃、延安时期大力支持、新中国成立以后继续关心的历程。他提出用古今中外法对待祖国的优秀文化遗产、中西医合作、以科学方法开展中药生产、中医科学化、健康养生等主张,对今天仍有一定的现实意义。

The topic of Xu Teli and Chinese medicine has not been specially studied before.Xu Teli,the great proletarian revolutionist and educator,experienced the process of giving up traditional Chinese medicine as his profession,strongly supporting it in Yan'an period,and continuing to care about it after the founding of People's Republic of China.His proposed that we should cherish excellent Chinese cultural heritage and promote cooperation between traditional Chinese and western medicine at all times and in all countries;and achieve production and scientization of traditional Chinese medicine as well as health preservation with scientific methods.These proposals still have certain practical significance today.
