血清HMGB1、IL-6与癫痫患儿脑电图异常的相关性

Correlation between serum HMGB1, IL-6 and abnormal EEG in children with epilepsy

目的 探讨血清高迁移率族蛋白1(HMGB1)、白细胞介素-6(IL-6)水平与癫痫(epilepsy, EP)患儿脑电图异常的相关性。方法 选取2018年5月—2020年6月南阳市第二人民医院收治的85例EP患儿,所有患儿均于入院发病即刻检测血清HMGB1、IL-6水平,之后行脑电图检查,观察脑电波变化情况,并记录85例EP患儿脑电图异常发生情况,分析EP患儿血清HMGB1、IL-6水平与脑电图异常的关系。结果 经脑电图检查发现,85例EP患儿中脑电图异常43例,异常率为50.59%;脑电图异常患儿血清HMGB1、IL-6水平均高于脑电图正常患儿,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);经logistics回归分析,结果显示,血清HMGB1、IL-6水平高与EP患儿脑电图异常存在一定联系(OR>1,P<0.05)。结论 EP患儿血清HMGB1、IL-6水平与脑电图异常有关,即血清HMGB1、IL-6水平越高,EP患儿越容易出现脑电图异常。

Objective To investigate the correlation between the levels of serum high mobility group box protein 1(HMGB1), interleukin-6(IL-6) and abnormal EEG in children with epilepsy(EP).Methods Totally 85 children with EP treated in Nanyang the Second People’s Hospital from May 2018 to June 2020 were selected, all children were tested for serum HMGB1 and IL-6 levels immediately after admission, after that, EEG was performed, observed the changes of brain waves, and the abnormal EEG of 85 children with EP were recorded, the relationship between serum HMGB1, IL-6 levels and abnormal EEG in children with EP was analyzed.Results EEG examination showed that 43 of 85 children with EP had abnormal EEG, and the abnormal rate was 50.59%;The levels of serum HMGB1 and IL-6 in children with abnormal EEG were higher than those in children with normal EEG, with a statistical significant difference(P<0.05);Through logistic regression analysis, the results showed that high levels of serum HMGB1 and IL-6 were related to the abnormal EEG in children with EP(OR>1, P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of serum HMGB1 and IL-6 in children with EP are related to abnormal EEG, that is, the higher the levels of serum HMGB1 and IL-6, the more prone to abnormal EEG in children with EP.
