The Path Choice of Urban Spirit Conservation in the New Era:A Case Study of Yichang City in Hubei Province

城市精神是一座城市的灵魂。涵养城市精神不仅可以凝聚人心踔厉奋进,也能够展示城市形象,提升城市竞争力,推动城市和谐健康发展。城市精神涵养过程要规避内容提炼欠精准、塑造方法较落后、弘扬践行重形式等问题,做到城市精神提炼洞悉“源”与“流”,塑造厘清“主”与“宾”,弘扬把好“魂”与“体”,力求彰显城市特质,实现虚实融通,谋求共识以促发展。

City spirit is the soul of a city.To Preserve the city spirit can not only unite people to work with a strong ring,to enhance the competitiveness of the city,but also promote the harmonious and healthy development of cities.The process of urban spiritual conservation should avoid such problems as inaccurate content extraction,backward shaping methods and laying emphasis on form in promotion and practice and ensure that the city spirit be refined with insight into"source"and"flow".There is need to clarify"subject"and"object",carry forward the"soul"and"body",try to reveal the city characteristics and distinguish fact from fable to seek consensus in order to promote the development.
