摘要
“听”与“说”是英语交际能力中的两种重要技能。“听”是获取语言知识和信息的首要来源,“说”则是使用语言表达思想和进行交流的重要渠道。本文根据Thornbury的理论(达到一项口语技能专业水准的过程至少要经历“意识、吸收和自主”三个阶段)归纳了课堂常用的三阶段口语表达活动,剖析了一个Role-play the conversation(示范对话)优秀教学课例,反思了三个阶段学习活动设计的策略,明晰了三阶段活动之间的关系,以期提高学生的口语表达能力。
Listening and speaking are two important skills in English communicative competence.Listening is the primary channel to obtain language knowledge and information,while speaking is the important channel to use language to express ideas and communicate.Based on Thornbury’s theory which believes that the process of reaching a professional level of oral skills should go through at least three stages of“awareness,absorption and autonomy”,this article summarizes the three-stage oral expression activities commonly used in the classroom,analyzes an excellent teaching example of roleplay,reflects on the design strategies of the three-stage learning activities,and clarifies the relationship between the three-stage activities,in order to improve students’oral expression.
