This paper focuses on how to use information technology to improve the distribution efficiency and management accuracy of LPG zero bottles in the new era, and introduces the possibility and practicability of using various information systems in each link in the operation practice of the whole industry chain of LPG zero bottles using actual cases. Through comparison and practical application, the construction of a number of information systems, such as cylinder whole process traceability, wechat gas ordering, online book management,sleeping cylinder activation, electronic inspection list, etc. has been innovated. Through case analysis, it is concluded that the information system is completely applicable in the traditional industry of LPG zero-bottle distribution, and can provide strong support for the development of enterprises. It shows that only by constantly improving the level of information technology can we truly strengthen cylinder control and ensure the supply of people’s livelihood.
