Many large cities have convention centers.Convention centers host large groups of people for meetings.They are called conventions.The people at a convention share the same interest.It may be computers,toys,movie theaters,coffee or something else.There is a convention for almost everything.A very important part of a convention is a trade show.Businesses bring their newest products to a trade show and try to sell them.Convention centers have large spaces to host trade shows because thousands of people attend each convention.
