The concept of home gardening,the development history of home gardening in China,and four types of home gardening:garden gardening,roof gardening,balcony gardening and indoor gardening were introduced.The characteristics of domestic horticulture industry in China at present from the aspects of plant varieties was expounded.The prospect of home gardening industry was analyzed,including the prediction of industrial scale and the challenges faced by industrial development,and finally relevant development countermeasures and suggestions were put forward.
