The Railway to Tibet National Center for the Performing Arts&Beijing Dance Drama&Opera Date:October 27-30,2022 Venue:National Center for the Performing Arts Featuring elements of Tibetan dance,it tells a story of friendship between local Tibetans and the soldiers involved in the laying of the rail tracks during the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway back in the 1970s.Founded in 1978 and restructured into an enterprise in 2004,the Beijing Dance Drama&Opera is Beijing’s only professional song and dance performance troupe administrated by the Municipal People’s Government of Beijing,specializing in the creation and performance of stage arts.
