With the birth of the “new feminism”, more and more costume designers and costume works are influenced by the “new feminism” and integrate more “new feminist” ideas into the costume works, presenting a distinct new feminist style. With the improvement of the public aesthetic appreciation and the improvement of the cultural level, the new feminist clothing has become an important part of women’s clothing consumption activities, triggering a new trend of women’s clothing. This paper discusses the performance and application of feminism in clothing design, analyzes the characteristics of new feminist clothing, and provides new ideas for female clothing design.
