外语院系学生专业满意度调查与分析--基于不同语种专业的考察

采用问卷调查的方式,以江苏省27所公办大学外语院系3526名本科生为样本展开专业满意度实证分析。通过比较不同语种专业学生满意度发现,课程设置、课堂教学、综合能力培养中的大多数具体指标满意度及专业总体满意度表现为日语专业显著高于英语,其他语种也显著高于英语;在实践教学方面日语和其他语种学生满意度也高于英语。要解决目前存在的问题,需要彻底改革课程设置,把“以学生为中心”理念落到实处,并将现代信息技术作为必要手段,创新实践教学模式,多渠道培养综合能力,教学重心从传统的语言能力培养向综合能力培养转移。且不同语种专业应有不同的侧重点。

An empirical analysis of students'specialty satisfaction was carried out by evaluating 3526 responses to questionnaires from undergraduates in 27 public universities in Jiangsu province.The study finds that most of the index satisfaction and overall specialty satisfaction in curriculum setting,classroom teaching,and comprehensive ability training in Japanese majors are significantly higher than those of English majors,and the two indicators of satisfaction of other language majors are also significantly higher than those of English majors.The same difference is visible in practical training.This study thinks it essential to thoroughly reform the curriculum,implement the"student-centered"concept,and shift the emphasis from the fostering of language proficiency onto that of cultivating comprehensive ability through multiple channels by using modern information technology;and different language majors should prioritize differently.
