The practice of opening environmental protection facilities to the public--a case study of Fuzhou

环保设施向公众开放工作,能够有效化解“邻避效应”,保障公众环境知情权、参与权、监督权,对提高全民生态环境意识、构建生态环境治理全民行动体系有着重要意义。本文以福州市环保设施向公众开放工作为例,探讨了环保设施向公众开放工作取得的进展和成效,并针对开放工作推进过程中存在的不足提出了对策和建议。

The opening of environmental protection facilities to the public can effectively resolve the"neighborhood avoidance effect"and protect the public's right to be informed,to participate and to supervise.This is of great significance for improving the people's awareness of ecological environment and building a national action system for ecological environment governance.Here,we take the opening of environmental protection facilities in Fuzhou to the public as an example,show the progress and achievements of the work,summarize the shortcomings,and further put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
