David Koepp has amassed an interesting body of work as a director.From the darker Stir of Echoes and Secret Window(another Depp vehicle)to lighter fair such as Ghost Town or the quirky action flick,and career high.Premium Rush.Unfortunately however,Koepp has struggled to live up to the standards he has set for himself when left solely to writing duties,and Mortdecai doesn't do anything to change that.
