3D laser scanning and UAV aerial survey are two commonly used technical means in topographic survey.They have different characteristics and advantages in specific surveying and mapping applications.The integration of 3D laser scanning and UAV aerial survey technology in 3D topographic survey is conducive to promoting the accuracy and efficiency of surveying,which has a very positive role and significance.By analyzing the technical principle of 3D laser scanning and UAV aerial survey as well as the data acquisition and processing flow,this paper will study the fusion application of 3D terrain mapping technology based on 3D laser scanning and UAV aerial survey with examples for reference.
