Tangible and Intangible:The Preference for"Line"in Traditional Chinese Architecture

以“线”为全新视角,对研究中国传统建筑的发展具有启发意义。从三个方面出发——“线性”审美意识、中国传统建筑的文化线、中国传统建筑的“秩序线”,分析了中国传统建筑艺术中“线”的审美意识、建筑拟化自然的生命线、建筑规划形式与装饰线、人文文化线和社会秩序线等内容,整理出“线”的典型阶段事物及其具象形式发展。

Taking"line"as a new perspective,it has enlightening significance to study the development of Chinese traditional architecture.Starting from three aspects:"linear"aesthetic consciousness,cultural line of Chinese traditional architecture,and"order line"of Chinese traditional architecture,this paper analyzes the aesthetic consciousness of"line",imitating lifeline of nature with architecture,architectural planning form and decoration line,cultural line and social order line in Chinese traditional architectural art.It sorts out the"line"of the typical stage of things and its concrete form of development.
