With his ancestral roots in Fuqing,a town in southern China's Fujian Province,Lin Feng was bom in Indonesia in 1938.His experiences in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,where the man lived for five decades,not only rebuilt the artists character but transformed him into one of China's most respected and well-known minority painters.
