图像副文本在中国传统典籍翻译与外传中的可视化作用及其完善

On the Role of Image Para-text in the Translation and Dissemination of Traditional Chinese Classics

在“中国文化走出去”和“一带一路”倡议背景下,译者应当重视图像副文本在中国传统典籍翻译和传播中的作用,以更全面地把握中国传统典籍文化思想,更准确地传播其文化内涵,合理打通传统文化生成语境之路径,切实推进中国传统典籍在西方国家的传播与接受。本文作者在阐释图像副文本在中国传统典籍中具有四种具体的可视化作用的基础上,提出了图像副文本在中国传统典籍翻译中的作用,即呈现典籍真实的叙事方式、丰富注释方式、助力东方文化图式构建,最后提出了完善图像副文本在中国传统典籍翻译与外传中的对策,以提升中国文化软实力的影响力和辐射力。

Under the background of"Chinese culture going out"and"the Belt and Road Initiative",translators should attach great importance to the role of image para-text in the translation and dissemination of Chinese traditional classics.By employing the image para-text in the traditional Chinese classics,the translators can not only rationally build the path to the generation of context of traditional culture,but comprehensively grasp the cultural thoughts of Chinese traditional classics,as well as thoroughly interpret their cultural connotations and meanings,so as to effectively promote the dissemination and acceptance of Chinese traditional classics in the among the Western readers China.On the basis of explaining the four specific visual functions of the para-text in Chinese traditional classics,the author of this paper puts forward the role of the para-text in Chinese traditional classics translation,that is,to present the true narrative mode of classics,to enrich annotation methods,and to help build Oriental cultural schema among the Western readers.Finally,three countermeasures to improve the image para-text in Chinese traditional classics translation and dissemination has been put forward towards the translators,in order to enhance the influence and radiation of China's cultural soft power.
