明代沈鲸《双珠记》艺术结构的成就向来受到人们推崇。《双珠记》结构的精巧体现在以“双珠”的离合聚散为中心,写王楫一家从渐次分散再到逐渐团圆的过程;以袁天纲为王、陈、孙三人看相为机缘,预测了三人的命运,对总的剧情做了交代;同时,作者善于设置埋伏伏线千里,其针线之细密、运思之谨严,使该剧的内在结构上更加精巧与严密;韩妈妈、朱快、叶清等作为穿针引线的线索式人物,使剧情巧妙衔接形成了一个脉络条贯的有机整体。“真武灵应”一出是全剧的戏眼,是剧情由悲转喜、剧中人物从分到合的关键转折点,亦是剧作精神主旨的集中体现。
