The narrative of new century novels about college students from the countryside entering the city is a type of subject matter in the intellectual literature.The authors focus on the Second Day life and spiritual condition of those college students after entering the city,and describe their real process of growing up under inspirational education,saving themselves in moral influence and struggling in commercial desire of city life.This narrative is a dual experiential writing of self-perception and social identity of agricultural descent college students.Different from the“anti-intellectualization”aesthetic tendency that has been popular since the beginning of the new century,the narrative of rural college students entering the city focuses on the examination of the relationship between“knowledge and destiny”.Compared with the“suffering superposition”tendency of the“Bottom stratum literature”,it reflects the deep contemplation and rational reflection on the marginal experience and knowledge production relationship of the rural youth who entered the city in the process of urbanization.This is an expansion of the narrative of urban-rural relations in the new literary tradition and a positive response to the transformation of China’s rural society.
