Generative Logic,Unique Strengths and Practices of the Whole-process People’s Democracy in China

全过程人民民主是新时代中国共产党人对民主的新理解、新认识和新实践。从生成逻辑来看,全过程人民民主是中华传统民本思想的精华荟萃,是马克思主义民主理论的指向使然,同时也是中国共产党对社会主义民主政治建设经验的继承发展,具有深厚的思想逻辑、理论逻辑和历史逻辑。新时代发展全过程人民民主,必须从政治层面、社会层面和制度层面来实现党的领导、人民当家作主和依法治国的有机统一。

The whole-process people’s democracy in China has been given a deeper understanding and practice by Chinese Communists in the new era. From the perspective of its generative logic,whole-process people’s democracy in China is the essence of Chinese tradition putting people first and the orientation Marxist democratic theory,which at the same time is historical continuity and development of Communist Party of China’s experience in constructing socialist democracy, with profound ideological logic, theoretical logic and historical logic.From the viewpoint of its unique strengths, whole-process people’s democracy in China is mainly reflected in three different aspects, wholly involved in democratic procedures, the comprehensiveness of democratic forms and full participation and practices of democratic subjects. In terms of practices, developing the new period of whole-process people’s democracy in China integrates the Party’s leadership,the people’s status as masters of the country and law-based governance in line with political,social and institutional levels.
