Rebuilding the Social Relations of the Elderly: Elderly Loneliness in Local Demolition and Its Countermeasures

运用质性研究方法,选取云南两县21个经历拆迁的老年人个案,研究地方拆迁后老年人社会关系和心理的变化。研究发现,老年人从熟人社会进入生人社会后,变得孤立,原有的社会关系网络断裂,老年孤独问题凸显。因此,在家庭层面,子女要多关心陪伴老年父母;在社区层面,要积极组织老年人活动,畅通邻里沟通渠道;在社会层面,要完善促进老年人社会交往的政策,加快适老化设施改造。

Using a qualitative research method, the paper selects 21 cases of elderly people who have experienced demolition in two Yunnan counties in attempt to study the changes in social relations and psychology of the elderly after local demolition. It is found that the elderly become isolated and nuclear after entering a stranger community from the acquaintance one, and the problem of loneliness in old age is prominent. Therefore, at the family level, children should pay more attention to accompany their elderly parents;at the community level, the elderly should be actively organized to smooth the communication between neighbors;at the social level, it is necessary to promote policies to promote social interactions among the elderly and accelerate the renovation of facilities suitable for the elderly.
