性别受社会规范和性别秩序等影响,性别观念通过各种操演行为得以建立。作为性别操演的手段,时尚不仅可以规范性别秩序,还能够通过它无目的性的内在特征颠覆某些固定的性别话语,起到性别解放的作用。欧洲服饰体现了时尚与性别操演的互动关系。但是,时尚不停地赋予意义又剥离意义,成为了非表意的符号运动,只是暂时性的解放表象。

Gender is impacted by social norms and gender order.The conception of gender is established through various performative conducts.As one means of gender performativity,attributing to its very random inner particularity,fashion not only has the function of regulating gender order,but also subvert certain fixed gender discourse and formulate sexual emancipatory significance.The interplay between fashion and gender performativity is embodied in the development of the European apparel.However,fashion is not an ideographic symbolic movement because of its unending endowing items with meanings and undoing them constantly,it should be viewed as temporary liberation.
