坚持“九二共识”是两岸互动合作的政治基础和解决台湾“国际参与”的前提条件,搁置争议、求同存异是特定阶段推进两岸关系发展的基本策略,适度创造“战略性模糊”是解决两岸政治难题的权宜之计。目前,“九二共识”在岛内遇到前所未有的挑战:两岸分歧由“涵义分歧”上升到“原则分歧”,国民党在一个中国政策上日益蜕变,岛内社会政治生态“大面积绿化”,国民党与大陆在统一问题上存在分歧,美国不希望台湾各政治力量接受“九二共识”等。应还原“九二共识”的本来含义,认清其是特定历史条件的产物且必将在两岸统一后完成历史使命,提出“九二共识”替代性表述缺乏实质意义。时至今日,国民党走到一个新的历史“十字路口”,如何对待和处理“九二共识”考验着国民党的智慧。

Adhering to“the 1992 Consensus”is the political basis for cross-Strait interaction and cooperation,and also the prerequisite for resolving Taiwan’s“international participation”.Putting aside disputes and seeking common ground while reserving differences is the basic strategy for promoting cross-Strait relations at a specific stage.Moderate creation of“strategic ambiguity”is an expedient way to solve cross-Strait political problems.At present,“the 1992 Consensus”has encountered unprecedented challenges in the Island.Cross-Strait differences have risen from“differences in meaning”to“differences in principle”.The Kuomintang has gradually transformed its one-China policy.The social and political ecology in the Island has become“green on a large scale”.There are differences between the Kuomintang and the mainland on reunification.The United States does not want Taiwan’s political forces to accept“the 1992 Consensus”.We should restore the original meaning of“the 1992 Consensus”and recognize that it is the product of specific historical conditions and will certainly complete the historical mission after the reunification of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits.Putting forward the alternative statement of“the 1992 Consensus”lacks substantive significance.Today,the Kuomintang has come to the new historical“crossroads”.How to treat and handle“the 1992 Consensus”tests the wisdom of the Kuomintang.
