Comparison of Street Space Representing the Image of the City Between Beijing and Paris:Comparative Study of Chang'an Avenue and Champs Elysees

街道空间作为城市的重要构成要素,是展示城市形象的重要载体。文章通过比较长安街与香榭丽舍大街,关注东西方不同社会背景下发展起来的重要街道空间呈现出的异同点,并总结其在展现城市形象上所采用的设计方向与做法,探讨国内城市街道空间存在的问题。

As an important part of city,street space plays an important role in city image,overall layout and residents'life.By comparing Chang'an Avenue and Champs Elysees,this paper focuses on the similarities and differences of the important street space developed in different social backgrounds of the East and the West,summarizes the design direction and practice in showing city image,and discusses the problems existing in the domestic urban street space.
