Limitations of Architectural Typology Theory and Its Contemporary Extension

近年来,建筑类型学理论的研究大量涌现,但伴随而来的是对这一理论的误用和滥用。其中一个重要的原因就在于该理论自身的局限性,使其难以很好地适用于当下的研究。因此,研究亟待从理论根本出发,在其发展脉络中把握矛盾,从而提出一种基于当代的理论扩充。

A large number of studies based on the theory of architectural typology have emerged in recent years,but some of them have misused and abused the theory.An important reason lies in the limitations of the theory itself,making it difficult to apply to current research.Therefore,it is high time that we should start from the basic theory,grasp the contradiction in its development context,so as to put forward a theoretical expansion based on the contemporary.
