In the installation process of metal structure gate of hydropower station, welding operation is an indispensable and important link. The scientificity and standardization of welding technology largely determine the installation quality of gate and affect the stable operation and service life of metal structure gate of hydropower station. This paper introduces the welding technical measures in the installation stage of metal structure gate in detail, including the preparation measures before welding,the technical measures during welding and the inspection measures after welding, so as to provide technical reference for the welding operation of metal structure gate.
