The Fallacy in the Historical Interpretation of Zheng Chenggong by“Taiwan region Independence”Separatists

“台独史观”是“台独”分子在历史领域“去中国化”的重要工具,其表现之一就是对郑成功历史的曲解。他们或鼓吹郑成功的明郑政权是代表台湾地区的“独立政权”“东宁王国”,或将其称为代表中国的“外来政权”,或指责郑成功与荷兰殖民者一样是台湾地区少数民族的“屠杀者”。“台独史观”的观点完全违背历史事实,受到中外史料记载的有力驳斥。“独”派歪曲郑成功历史,暴露了其蓄意“反中谋独”的“台独”实质。

“The historical conception of Taiwan Independence”is an important tool for the de-Sinicization agenda of“Taiwan independence”separatists,in which the historical distortion of Zheng Chenggong played an essential role.In the separatists'narratives,the kingdom of Koxinga re⁃presented an“independent polity”known as“the Kingdom of Tungning”or a“foreign regime”as⁃suming Chinese sovereignty.In some interpretations,Zheng Chenggong is compared to the Dutch colonizers who“slaughtered”the indigenous people in Taiwan region.“The historical conception of Taiwan region Independence”completely deviated from historical facts and conflicted with historical documents in both Chinese and non-Chinese languages.Such distorted history of Zheng Chenggong exposes the“anti-Chinese”and“separatist”agenda to seek“Taiwan region independence”.
