从“华夷之限”到“捍卫中华”——《皇华集》所载壬辰战争前后鸭绿江意象文化内涵的变迁

From“the Boundary of Huayi”to“Defending China”:The Connotation Change of the Imagery of the Yalu River before and after the Renchen War Recorded in Hwang Hwa Ji

《皇华集》是明代中朝两国使者记录双方交往和异域见闻的诗文唱和集,其中涉及鸭绿江的作品占比极大。通过品读这类诗文,不难发现鸭绿江意象的文化内涵在壬辰战争前后发生了重要转变,即由普遍观念的“华夷之限”转变为“捍卫中华”的重要藩屏,由两国使节私人友情的见证转变为两国人民集体记忆中的国家友谊象征。其转变的实质是两国关系发展和相对实力变动的真实写照。

Hwang Hwa Ji is a collection of poems and proses written by envoys of China and Korea during the Ming Dynasty to record the exchanges between the two sides and their exotic stories,among which the works relating to the Yalu River account for a large proportion.The exploration of these poems and proses shows that the cultural connotation of the image of Yalu River changed significantly before and after the Renchen War from the common concept of“the boundary of Huayi”to the protective shield of“defending China”.The Yalu River became the symbol of national friendship in the collective memories of the people of the two countries.The essence of imagery change is a real reflection of the development of bilateral relations and changes in national strength.
