南朝萧齐巴州设置以及废省原因探析

Discussion on the Set and Abolishment of Ba Province by Xiao Qi in the Southern Dynasties

建元二年,萧齐为改变巴东、建平、巴、涪陵四郡经济凋零、统治秩序薄弱的状况以及缓和民族矛盾,获取丰富的物资资源,故设置了巴州。由于中央政权统治措施比较合理,加之任人得当,不久即基本上恢复对该地区正常的统治秩序。后为稳定荆、益二州政区的安定和荆州在长江中游的政治、军事战略位置,最终于永明元年,废省巴州,原四郡各还属本州。

In the second year of Jian Yuan, in order to change the phenomenon of economic decline and weak ruling order, and to ease ethnic conflicts and obtain rich material resources, Xiao Qi set up Ba province. Due to reasonable ruling measures of the central government and competent officials, normal ruling order of the region was soon basically restored. Later, in order to stabilize Jing and Yi areas and the political and military strategic position of Jing province in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the province of Bazhou was abolished finally in the first year of Yongming, and the original four counties were still belonging to their own prefectures.
