通过对近代日本的汉字英译词的分析,以“自由”一词为例,研究儒家文化对其影响的成因和表现,从而得出近代日本汉字英译词深受中国儒家文化影响的结论,儒家文化在中日两国占有非常重要的地位,建议现代译者在翻译过程中要为了宣扬儒家文化、增强国家文化自信而努力。

Based on the analysis of the modern Japanese characters of English translation, the author takes the word "freedom" as an example to study the causes and manifestations of Confucian culture’s influence on it. To conclude, the modern Japanese characters of English translation are deeply influenced by Chinese Confucian culture. The Confucian culture occupies a very important position in both China and Japan, and it is suggested that modern translators should strive to publicize Confucian culture and enhance national cultural confidence in the process of translation.
