琉球王国的王族园林初探

Royal Garden of the Ryukyu Kingdom

琉球王国是位于中国东海的古代政权,曾拥有具有地域特点的历史园林,其中属于琉球王族的园林是该古代王国历史类型园林的典型代表。梳理史料,将琉球王族园林发展划分为生成期、转折期、成熟期3个阶段;结合各园林的位置、功能等因素,王族园林分为宫内庭园、内苑、外苑3个类型。琉球王族园林类型明确,在布局上模仿中国,在功能上突出外交功能。对历史上琉球王族园林的研究,有助于丰富东亚园林史的内容。

The Kingdom of Ryukyu is an ancient regime located on the East China Sea.It once had many gardens with regional characteristics,among which the gardens belonging to the Ryukyu royal family are outstanding typical representatives.According to the history of Ryukyu,the development of royal gardens can be divided into three stages:the origin period,the turning period,and the mature period.Combining the location and function of each garden,royal gardens can be classified into three types:the palace garden,the inner garden and the outer garden.The Ryukyu royal family garden types are clear.The garden imitates China in layout,while highlighting its diplomatic function.The research on the Ryukyu royal garden would help to enrich the content of East Asian garden history.
