CopenHill is a special building located on the shore of the Oresund, only 2km from the center of Copenhagen.I visited CopenHill with a local landscape architect on the eve of its completion. This building that looks like a hill can give us a lot of inspiration. It greatly breaks through the inherent functional boundaries of a building and expands our understanding of urban land use.First,CopenHill is a plant that incinerates waste and converts it into electricity and heat.As the city's gray infrastructure, such plots will be given a brown color on the city plan. However,CopenHill is also a comprehensive building, its true brown function is completely hidden inside the building, and people can enter the building and follow a specific path to learn about the processes and techniques of waste treatment and power generation. There are also a visitor center, academic workshops, and meeting rooms in the building. On the roof of the building are a coffee shop,a bar and a sightseeing hall.
