Pipa is an important part of national musical instruments in our country,and the history can be traced back to thousands of years ago.In the long process of development,Pipa,which is perfectly compatible with Chinese national music culture,has gradually evolved from a foreign instrument into a national instrument.Pipa art has distinctive features,beautiful melody,unique techniques and rich performance.In the historical development of performance art,Pipa art has achieved good inheritance and innovation;giving insight into its historical context can eff ectively grasp the artistic quality in the evolution process of performance art.To this end,this paper analyzes its development schools,makes clear the cultural inheritance of each major school,and explores its development and innovation,which can enrich performance skills and expand communication space.
