“歌德再释”与“诗哲重生”——在学术史与知识史视域中重审歌德

Reinterpretation of Goethe and Rebirth of Poetic Philosopher——Reviewing Goethe from the Perspective of Academic History and Intellectual History

歌德作为“民族诗人”和“世界诗人”,其哲思不仅在德国思想史进程中薪火相传,更是得到了超越地域空间的跨文化传播,歌德学也成为世界学术的重要标志。在“世界文学”时代形成之际,于学术史与知识史的双重视阈中重审歌德和歌德学,回顾其所可能呈现的侨易空间和景观,并在不断扩展和延伸的知识侨易史过程中与异质思想持续对话,一则可反思、再释乃至重构以西方现代性为主导的世界知识体系,重释世界学术的“东方在场”;二则可实现民族性的借镜自观,通达“世界心灵”之境界。中国歌德学建构已初现麟角,但仍任重道远,我们不仅需要继往开来、回应时代,更需返顾历史、点石成金。

As a “national poet” and a “world poet”,Goethe’s philosophies have not only been passed on in the course of German intellectual history,but have also been disseminated across cultures beyond geographical space,and Goethe study has become an important symbol of world scholarship.At a time when the era of “world literature” is taking shape,it is necessary to revisit Goethe and Goethe study in the dual context of academic and intellectual history,to review the space and landscape of Qiao-yi that they may present,and in the ever-expanding and extended Qiao-yi history of knowledge,and then we can have a continuous dialogue with heterogeneous ideas.In this way,on the one hand,we can reflect on,reinterpret,and even reconstruct the world knowledge system that dominated by western modernity,and reinterpret the “Eastern presence” of world scholarship.On the other hand,we can use the mirror of the other to re-examine our nationality and reach the realm of the “world mind”.Some progress has been made in the construction of Goethe study in China,but there is still a long way to go.We need not only to continue the past and respond to the times,but also to look back at history and turn it into gold.
