Sports events have become an important way of urban marketing and renewal. This article starts with the linkage development of sports events in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, in order to fully release the multiple effects of sports events and help the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area become a world-class bay area and a world-class urban agglomeration. By research methods such as literature and logical analysis, this paper deeply analyzes the realistic basis and development dilemma of the linkage development of sports events in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and builds a new system for the linkage development of sports events in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
