How He Qifang Interprets Speeches——An Analysis of the Notes of “Advanced Literature Class”

新近发现的1963年“人大文学进修班”上何其芳讲授《讲话》的听课笔记,披露了诸多关涉萧军、艾青、周扬等人的史料以及“延安文艺座谈会”前后鲜为人知的历史细节。笔记显示,何其芳善于在互文性网络中深入地阐发微言大义,亦善结合时代语境拓展《讲话》精神的现实兼容性与理论效力,这也是其阐释《讲话》的主要方式之一。而何其芳的文学特质观、富于包容性的文学阶级观以及“局部生活”论等较为个性化的见解亦可藉此窥见一斑。

The recently discovered lecture notes of He Qifang’s lecture on Speeches in the “Advanced Literature Class of Renmin University” in 1963 disclose some historical documents related to writers such as Xiao Jun, Ai Qing, Zhou Yang, etc., which reveal many rarely-known historical details before and after the “Yan’an Forum on Literature and Art”. The notes indicate that He Qifang was proficient in explaining subtle and profound language of speech within an intertextuality network.In addition, He Qifang elucidated Speeches in the context of the contemporary era to expand its realistic compatibility and the theoretical explanatory power, which is one of the main ways that he interpreted the Speeches. Furthermore, He Qifang’s view of literary characteristics, his inclusive view of literary class, the theory of “local life” and his other personal views are displayed in the notes.
