“Curriculum Is the Life Course of Students at School”:Curriculum Construction of Nankai High School in Modern Times

南开中学是我国近代中学教育的一面旗帜。课程是学校教育的核心,为培养“允公允能”之学子,南开中学提出了课程的生活历程观,形成了完善的课程结构。南开中学注重课程的校本化建设,表现为:拓展课程类型,丰富“生活历程”;调适国家课程,增强教育效果;创生特色课程,聚焦现代能力。基于生活历程对课程进行全域规划,基于学生立场使课程适应学生需要,基于关键能力让课程指向育人目标,是南开中学课程实践给予新时代课程改革的启示。

Nankai High School is a banner of modern high school education in China. Curriculum is the core of school education. In order to cultivate students with “both integrity and ability”, Nankai High School has put forward the concept of life course of curriculum and formed a perfect curriculum structure. Nankai High School attaches great importance to the school-based curriculum construction which is manifested in expanding curriculum types, enriching“life course”, adjusting national curriculum, enhancing education effect, creating life-based characteristic curriculum and focusing on modern ability. The curriculum practice of Nankai High School provides the inspirations for the curriculum reform in the new era by making a comprehensive planning of the curriculum based on the life course, adapting the curriculum to the needs of students based on the students’ position, and directing the curriculum to the goal of educating people based on the key abilities.
