Characteristics of Atmospheric Electric Field during Fair Weather at LHAASO Observatory

摘要 晴天大气电场是研究全球大气电路和气候变化的重要参数.利用高海拔宇宙线观测站(LHAASO)的大气电场数据(2019年11月至2020年10月),研究高山区域晴天大气电场的日变化规律.结果表明,晴天大气电场的日周期变化具有双峰双谷的特征,峰值分别出现在北京时间12:00和18:00,谷值分别出现在7:00和13:00;峰谷出现的早晚因季节不同略有差异,同时,夏季的双峰双谷结构更明显、电场强度相对较大.对大气电场变化与气象参量(温度、风速、湿度)的相关性也进行了分析,发现晴天大气电场与温度的相关性最强,与湿度的相关性较弱. The atmospheric electric field during fair weather is an important key parameter for global electric circuit investigations and climate change assessment.Based on the electric fields recorded by the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO),the variation of atmospheric electric field during fair weather is studied.By analyzing the electric field data from November 2019 to October 2020,the diurnal variation in sunny days exhibits a double oscillation.The peaks are at 12:00 and 18:00,and the valleys are at 7:00 and 13:00(Beijing time).The seasonal variation of the electric field is also obvious.In summer,the double oscillation is clearer and the strength of the electric field is larger.In this work,the correlation between the atmospheric electric field and the meteorological parameters(such as the temperature,humidity and wind speed)are also discussed.The results of meteorological effects show that there is a strong positive correlation between the electric field and the temperature,but weak with humidity.
