1932年,在上海、南京等地求学的甘肃籍学子在上海创办了《新西北》季刊。一批学人在该刊物上讨论西北问题的过程中,始终重视西北地区在中华民族大家庭中的地位与作用,强调西北地区是中国不可分割的重要组成部分。围绕在上海创办的这份《新西北》而开展的文化活动,彰显了其时学人强烈的中华民族自觉意识。

In 1932,Gansu students studying in Shanghai,Nanjing and other places founded the quarterly New Northwest in Shanghai.In the process of discussing the northwest issue in this journal,a group of scholars always attached importance to the status and role of the northwest in the Chinese nation family,emphasizing that the northwest is an integral part of China.The cultural activities around the New Northwest demonstrated the strong sense of Chinese nation of scholars at that time.
