身体与秩序:口罩防疫的身体社会学探析

Body and Order:The Body Sociological Analysis of Face Masks for Epidemic Prevention

新冠肺炎疫情的危损将身体的问题变得尖锐,借由身体社会学的视域来探析口罩防疫的多样化面相,对于理解这一问题颇有助益。在强区隔性的防疫空间中,作为身体流动的技术物,身体呼吸与技术、身体习惯、基于身体的认同和社会管理皆影响着人们对于公共健康秩序和他人存在的感知与互动,并最终反映在口罩的戴与不戴,完全掩盖与拉低展露的多样化图式之中。以合法身体为准的公共健康秩序与多样态的身体行动,在口罩防疫的身体实践中不断对峙与调适,将身体经验与记忆嵌入到地方的社会文化结构之中。或许,只有公共健康秩序的可见边界在“规训态”与“沟通态”身体运用的结合中逐渐消匿,身体治理与身体运用的逻辑在口罩之上达致共通,才可能塑成高度自觉的口罩防疫这一“身体秩序”。

The perils of the COVID-19 have sharpened the body problem. And it is helpful to understand this question by analyzing the various facades of facemasks for epidemic prevention from the perspective of body sociology. In a highly compartmentalized anti-epidemic space,bodily mobility technology,body breathing technology,corporeal habits,body-based identification and social management all affect people’s perception and interaction of public health order and other beings,and are ultimately reflected in the diversified pattern of wearing or not wearing facemasks,completely concealing or pulling them down. Based on the "legitimate body ",the public health order and diverse body actions are constantly confronted and adjusted in the physical practice of anti-epidemic mask,embedding bodily experience and memories into the local socio-cultural structure. Perhaps,only with the gradual disappearing of the visible boundary of public health order in the combination of the "disciplined body" and the "communicative body",and only with the logic of body governance and body use become harmonized on face masks,is it then possible to form the "body order",which has high self-consciousness of resorting to face masks for epidemic prevention.
